Regarding new recruitment for the year 2012 in SA cadre
Respected sir,
This is regarding
announcement of recruitment for fill up the vacant post of sorting Assistant in
Maharashtra circle from open market. We are
shocked to see posts declared for RMS B Division, Pune where only 8 posts were
declared to be fill up in Sorting Assistant cadre where as the RMS B Division
has facing acute shortage of manpower in respect of SA cadre.
Your
honour is requested to recall our discussion in previous bi-monthly meeting
where your honour has given assurance in writing to repatriate 12 posts of
Sorting Assistant which were diverted to Postal wing in last recruitment
process. But it seems that these posts were not reflected in this recruitment
process in spite of assurance by your honour. In this regard it is brought to
notice of your honour that about 48 additional posts are being justified for
SPCC Pune against 13 posts sanctioned for SPCC Pune.
Due
to introduction of SPC hub and introduction of R Net & L1 office for first
class mail the work load of Pune RMS, Pune CSO & Market Yard PSO is
increased. The Other offices (L2) are also facing acute shortage of manpower.
The staff of RMS B Division is working under pressure of increased work load.
Sir, About 26
Vacancy in Group C (Stg. Assistants) laying vacant for filling up the vacancy
and 48 additional posts are justified for SPCC Pune moreover 19 Posts in
respect of LSG (NB) and 5 posts in HSG-I
were vacant which indirectly pressurised in feeding cadre of Sorting
Assistant. Means about 86 (48+26+12)
posts in respect of Group C (SA Cadre), 19 posts in LSG (NB) cadre & 5
Posts in HSG-I cadre are required to fill up for smooth functioning of RMS B Division, Pune and better service to
public to avoid diversion of mail to other mail offices for sorting purpose
where already staff facing acute shortage problem.
We urge upon you to
kindly intervene in to the matter and for taking the issue appropriate level to
fill up 86 posts of sorting Assistants for smooth functioning of RMS B
Division, Pune.
