restoration of 4 SAs to Solapur RMS

herewith letter received from branch Secretary, AIRMS & MMS Employees Union
GR, C Solapur RMS on the subject cited above.
In
this regard kindly recall our discussion on previous monthly meeting and letter
even no. dated 11-04-2011 as well as item no. 8 of agitation notice dated
04-07-2011 where in it is decided not to book short manpower in B-7 section.
But now it is observed that since last few months office of SRO has started
short booking of one SA on B-7
section cased in non proper checking of bags consigned through B-7 Section and
high stress of work on one MA working on section where as the statistical
result does not permit for short booking of AMA on this section. It is also
brought to notice of your honour that after introduction of SPC hub at SPC Pune
4 SAs were transferred from Solapur RMS to Pune but after introduction of intra
circle hub to Solapur RMS these SAs were not repatriated to Solapur RMS even
though the work load of Solapur RMS increased after introduction of SPC intra
circle hub and diversion of first class mail of Pune TD for sorting at Solapur
RMS. Due to shortage of manpower at
Solapur RMS, sectional staff is required to double and triple duties on section
without any rest which is dangerous to their health as well as against the
natural justice.
It is
therefore requested to please repatriate 4 SAs to Solapur RMS or willing
officials to Solapur RMS for smooth functioning of Solapur RMS to avoid
resentment among the staff and avoid alarming agitation programme at Solapur
RMS. I shall remain highly thankful to you for doing the needful.
