Respected Sir,
Following items are submitted for the bi-monthly
meeting of November-2016.
Items:
- Redeployment
of 12 posts from postal division to RMS B Division, Pune :
Union
Brief: It is brought to notice of your honour that 12
posts of sorting Assistants were diverted to postal wing vide R.O. No.
PR/Estt-1/LR-Estt/Redeployment/10-11 dated 02/03-08-2011 (3 posts to SSPOS,
Solapur Postal Division and 9 Posts to SSPOs Pune City West Division) showing
surplus in the division due to surplus recruitment instead of diverting the
same to SPCC Pune by R.O. Pune due to erroneous excess recruitment done at
Postal wing. Earlier, this issue was taken with R.O. The then PMG has assured
for consider the matter but no progress in this regard. Now R.O. has justified
48 additional posts for NSH
Pune (2 Lsg +20SA+2LR), SP BNPL (1Lsg +12 SA), ICH Solapur (04 SA) and ICH
Ahmednagar (03 SA) Your honour is
requested to please divert at least 12 post originally from RMS B Division
redeployed to postal wing to RMS B Division Pune till the receipt of additional
posts from C.O. or directorate to cope up of excessive workload of RMS B
Division, Pune.
2. Regarding mail arrangement for Pune to
Kolhapur :

Brief :
It is brought to notice of your honour that
C.O. Mumbai has discontinue the Sayhadri express from 1st
October, 2016 hence there is lot of problem is being facing for transmission of
mail for Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Kudal & Panaji all mail is being detained
badly and it affected for D+ ratio of the mail. Your honour understands the
Kolhapur is L2 office for Pune Hub for Speed Post, Parcel and ordinary mail. There is
only one source is available for transmission of mail is BM2 section which is
available at 4.40 hrs at Pune but TMO Mumbai is being dumped mail for Kolhapur
onwards through B 7IN which is dropped at Pune and then again loaded to BM 2 IN
at Pune station it taken lot of time and manpower for loading and unloading of
mail and caused the of Pune Point is remained to load for BM2In section and
left behind and required to transmit through newly introduced BM3 section at
12.50 hrs. Mostly BM2 section is being running with 20 seater boggy or there is
no space to accommodate mail at Pune point and mail is likely to detained more
than 48 hrs at Pune. Your honour requested to please take up issue with
appropriate level to solve the problem or make alternate arrangement of
transmission of mail from Pune to Kolhapur for speedy transmission of mail.
3. Provision of tag lables and bag lables to all
mail offices.
UNION Brief : It
is brought to notice of your honour that now all offices of this division is
upgraded under MNOP project and look and feel good also observed. It is sorry
to say that till we utilize black sealing wax at all mail offices even though
directorate has issued guidelines to utilize tags to all mil offices i.e. Red :
Ordinary mail, Orange : Speed Post, Green : Registered mail, Blue: Parcel and
Yellow for Express parcel mail. The quality of black sealing wax is also not
good and smoke of sealing wax is unhealthy and our workers became sick due to
this. The walls became ugly due to black sealing wax heater. It consumes more
electricity. It is therefore requested to please procure tag lables to all mail
offices for good environment.
It
is also brought to notice of your honour that Parcel Hub Pune is being closing
around 800 to 1000 bags daily for its L1, L 2
and mapped post offices but PSD Nasik is being provides same series
barcode to parcel office which is shows duplicate bag lable and required change
lable number manually by adding 1 or any
other digit prefixing the number given for the same. They do not change the
series of barcode lables even though Division office is making correspondence
for the same. Your honour is requested to take up issue with appropriate level
and ask them to provide barcode lables at par with criteria of Speed Post or we
may purchase barcode lable printer and print lables at Pune with destination
office.
