Regarding proposed abandon of Pune RMS Building or part thereof to railway
authority.
Respected Sir,
It
has been intimated this union regarding proposed abandon of Pune RMS Building
or part thereof to railway authority by administration.
It is
learnt that railway authority has forcing for vacate Pune RMS building and
administration is going to hand over Pune RMS building or their part thereof to
railway authority. This union is strongly protest for any move of
administration for vacate the Pune RMS building or part thereof.
The
Pune RMS building is in prime location and where inward as well outward first
class mail is being dealt with. Two administrative offices i.e. Head Record
Office Mails and Accounts and Business Development office situated in this
building. All building is in operational condition and no space is being
unutilized condition. Due to prime location and nearly situation Pune TMO,
State Transport and Railway station, all type of Mail for Pune TSO and District
is being collected at Pune RMS centrally and then segregated for their
destination and it required huge space at night. All public mail is being
processed in speedy manner. It is also brought to notice of your honour that
our department is owner of this building and paid required amount to the railway
authority time to time and no space of this building utilized illegally by us.
It is therefore requested to please do not handover any part of building or
building including parking area to railway authority at any cost.
We
urge upon you to intervene in this matter and kindly take the issue with
appropriate level and stop proposal of abandon of Pune RMS building or part
thereof to avoid resentment of staff of RMS B Division Pune and smooth
functioning of mail offices as well as speedy transmission of public mail. I
shall remain highly thankful to you for doing the needful
